WHAT WE DO
The Lewis and Floor Wax Kids foundation donates money directly to kids and families. The goal is to assist with medical bills, clothing, school supplies, food, or any other necessities.
WHY WE DO IT
Many foundations have an overhead to pay personal and other expenses. We make sure the funds go directly to kids. Everyone who works on our foundation donates their time.
WHAT SETS US APART?
The L&F Kid's Fund was started 10 years ago by Denver radio legends Rick Lewis and Michael Floorwax. Over the years L&F made many appearances at benefits for major charities and raised money for them on and off the air. One thing that always bothered them about the giant charities was the giant overhead. So L&F decided to form their own charity, with no overhead and no administrative costs. Because of their love for children, L&F chose to focus their charity on helping kids in the Denver Metro area. Through the help of donors and listeners, L&F have paid hospital bills, bought medical equipment, athletic equipment and paid power bills for struggling families.
